After several days of pleasant weather (meaning Nathan has been wearing nothing but JANUARY) a cold front blew in last night so it was cold and windy this morning.  This winter I've been having a harder time trying to figure out what to wear than I have in the past.  So this morning I remembered I had this sweater dress and thought it would be perfect for this cold day.  And throw on the Bobeau wrap cardigan for good measure and I was wanting to take a nap at my desk my noon.

I didn't of course but it was really hard not to.  Now that January is almost over, I've finally come up with my list of New Year's Resolutions.  At the end of 2015 it was really hard for me to focus on what it was I wanted to do this year.  But now that things have calmed back down, I can finally think of what it is that I want to achieve this year.  One of my goals is to shop less and instead shop my closet more.  I have so many clothes that go unworn because I forget about them.  So I'm hoping to pull my unworn favorites (and of course my well worn, hanging on by a thread favorites) more. Of course, I will buy things as I need them.  I will try and be more mindful about my purchases this year.  Do I really need another pair of black shoes?  Probably not.  Better keep on moving.  But if my jeans don't fit or I have a hole in a basic shirt that I wear all the time, then sure, I'll probably go buy replacements.  I'm sure that during this whole process I'll do some purging as well.  After all I have too many black shoes.  No idea what I was thinking.  So we'll see how long this self-imposed shopping freeze lasts.  Might not be long.  May last months.  However long it turns out to be, it'll definitely be a challenge because ya'll know I love to shop.  Ha.  Wish me luck!
