Deranged Easter Bunny

One of my New Year's Resolutions this year is to shop less (or at least do less online shopping) and wear what I have in my closet more. So I started looking through my closet and found this Tinley Road cocoon cardigan I bought last year from Piperlime before the online retailer ceased to exist.

Tinley Road Cardigan
Sandra Ingrish Button Up Shirt (similar here)
AE Skinny Jean
Old Navy Western Booties (similar here)
Louis Vuitton 'Rivington'
Kendra Scott 'Alexandra' Earrings in Rose Quartz (Color Bar piece that is no longer available but the 'Alex' is)

Looking back, I can see why the retailer is no longer around.  Trying to determine the sizing for the brands the website carried was a crapshoot.  I ordered two skirts from the site along with this cardigan and neither fit even though I ordered both skirts a size larger than I would have normally worn based on the reviews.  And this's been sadly sitting on the shelf in my closet. One of my beloved coats is the same shade of pastel pink but for some reason I feel like Ralphie from A Christmas Story in his deranged Easter Bunny suit.  All I need to do is sew on some button eyes and the deranged Easter Bunny ensemble is complete.   Ha.  But then again, come winter time, I'm a fan of neutrals: Blacks, grays, taupes, whites, creams.  Pastel pink goes against my typical winter palette but it is a new year after all.  So I'll try this again and who knows, maybe it'll become one of my favorite pieces that I'll wear until it's just threads.
