Polka dots+Stripes and spirals

Hello everybody!  I'm still feeling a bit sluggish today due to last night's migraine.  Woke up feeling okay but it didn't take long for the migraine to creep right back in.  Aleeve and Immitrex were pretty much useless today.   At least I was in something comfy while I was in so much pain at the office.

Shirt: Old Navy

You're probably thinking that a skirt is far from comfy but this ponte skirt that I found on the sales rack at Target the other day is super comfy.  It was so comfy that I even went and laid down in the conference room for a little bit after lunch because I was feeling so queasy from my headache.  Yeah.  It's that comfy.  Ha.

And remember Nathan's tie-dye shirt from the weekend?  Well, I redid it on Tuesday using a Tulip One-Step Tie-Dye Kit and I'm happy to report that this time the colors didn't disappear when I tried to wash it.  I was a little nervous when the instructions said to put the shirt in the washer on the hottest setting but it survived.  That Tulip dye is some serious stuff.  Nathan was super excited to wear his shirt today and wanted to wear it to Casa de Nana's when I was getting him ready this morning.  So overall, I think the whole project was a success.  We got it done just in time for Meet the teacher night at his school today.

His teacher seems super sweet and we hope that they have a good year together.  We're super excited to see what the new year has in store for all of us.  Hopefully it's not a whole lot of visits to the principal's office.  Ha.
