While Nathan and I holed up in the bedroom, Jason got to deal with contractors as they started tiling our floors. We had them tile the kitchen and both bathrooms. I love the way it turned out and am kind of sad that it took us so long to do this. It took us prepping to put this house on the market to get us to actually do some home improvements. But J pointed out that if something goes horribly wrong, whether with the new build or our agent being overly optimistic about our listing price and the market, that we could stay here. Which if that turns out to be the case, at least we're one step closer to being in a renovated house that we wouldn't mind staying in for a little longer. But let's just hope this house sells. :-)
Since both of our bathrooms were out of commission, Nathan spent the night at the in-laws house. He's only slept over there twice now but every time I miss him so much and can't wait to see him the next morning. But I didn't get to see him until after work today because I had to wake up early to get an MRI of my head to rule out any serious issues that could be the cause of my migraines. Since I had to wake up early for such a not so fun task, I figured polka dots were in order to help lift my mood. :-)

My doctor should get the results within the next few days. Meanwhile, while I was at work, J managed to take Nathan to the doctor. Diagnosis? Ear infection AND a sinus infection. And on Thursday I have to take him back to the eye doctor for a follow-up appointment to check his eyes. No wonder the poor guy hates going to the doctor. It seems like we're always at one doctor's office or another. Hopefully this streak will be over after this week.
