Review: Feto Soap

Well hello there!  I hope ya'll had a very restful Thanksgiving.  I don't think any of us were ready to start this week.  Nathan even started to doze off on the couch as we tried to get him to eat his snack yesterday afternoon.  Poor guy.

With that being said, today's outfit was a repeat but I did do some shopping over the weekend and so I figured I would do a review since it has been a while since I have done one.  Over the weekend we decided to go get our geek on and check out the City Wide Garage Sale.  We didn't find anything at the City Wide but as we were parking, I realized that the Renegade Craft Fair was being held at the same venue.  Admission was free so we figured why not?  There was so much cool stuff that it was kind of overwhelming and I wanted to buy EVERYTHING but I was really intrigued by the booth of a company called Feto Soap.  According to their website they 'create the highest quality bath and body products, handmade in small batches in Austin, TX'.  I'm a sucker for body products and I love supporting local businesses but what really sold me on this brand was that they had a make your own nail polish bar.  The 6 year old in me squealed and it wasn't long before I was sitting down, funneling colored powders into my mini nail polish bottles.

So the practical side of me made a dark coppery brown since I love wearing darker colors in the winter. The 6 year old in me made purplish blue with sparkles.

The blue looks really pigmented in the bottle but when I started applying it, came out looking very clear.  This was what my nails looked like after applying five coats.

That was not the case with the brown.  I only needed two coats to paint my toes.  I will spare you a shot of my gross runner feet.  Ha.

The Renegade Craft Fair is over but don't fret.  If you're in the Austin area, Feto Soap will have a booth at the Blue Genie Art Bazaar that is going on until Christmas Eve.  That's right folks.  You can get your last minute shopping done at the Blue Gene Art Bazaar.
