OOTD: Family photo edition!

I bought my Nikon D3000 back in 2010 right after Nathan was born because I thought it would be great to be able to take my own photos and not have to spend so much money for professional photos. I do love snapping pictures of Nathan and J but as time has gone on, I've realized that it would be nice if I was in the picture every once in a while.  So despite having the fancy schmancy camera, we still end up having family photos taken by a photographer at least once a year. This past weekend, we had Kristen from Bella Reese Photography take this year's family pictures.  Austin has so many great photographers and I love working with as many of them as I can because they each have their own style.

I loved the way they turned out and other than my shoes, the rest of my outfit had pieces from my 30 items for the 30 in 30 challenge.  I'm totally going to stick to the challenge.  ;-)

  1. That last picture is just adorable! Great family! Great photos! And impressed that you haven't wavered from the 30!

    1. Thanks Cary! The last picture is my favorite too. He made us work for those smiles and we resorted to bribery at the end. Ha. As for wavering....I have a whole post about that I tried to write last night but our farkin' cable connection dropped and I couldn't finish/publish it. I'll have to do it tonight. :-)
