So for the longest time I tried resisting the trend of pattern mixing. After seeing others doing it for so long, it no longer seems like such an abstract or weird thing to do. I dipped my toe into the trend by wearing a striped shirt with leopard print wedges last week. I think that outfit worked because the two pieces were from the same color palette and the two patterns weren't in close proximity to each other on me. I know. I have weird logic behind my pattern mixing. This should not surprise you. Ha. But today I broke my own pattern mixing rule and wore one pattern over another.
Camo Jacket: GAP (sold out but similar here), Shirt: Old Navy, Skirt: ASOS (similar here), Necklace: Forever 21 (similar here)
I think this may be one of my favorite outfits. Why did I wait so long to mix it up?
