Sunday afternoon I was having some technical difficulties. I got home from Sesame Street Live and realized the battery of my Macbook only had 10% charge and the charger wasn't charging it. Bummer. By the time I realized that the charger wasn't working, Nathan was napping and J was at his buddy's house washing his car. Then with a chaotic Monday, I never made it to the Apple store to try and diagnose the problem. I didn't know what to do with myself without my computer. It was the weirdest feeling. So tonight, Nathan and I finally ventured out to the Apple store at the Domain. Well what do would ya know? As soon as the Apple guy got his hands on the charger it started to work. Son of a monkey's uncle. So now that I can finally blog from my laptop again here is yesterday's outfit.
Sweater: Target, Skirt: Anthropologie, Shoes: Talbots, Glasses: Coastal.com
Jacket: Elle (Kohl's), Shirt: JCrew, Skirt: Banana Republic Factory Store, SPANX, Pumps: Target, Glasses: Coastal.com
I've been embracing my blindness lately and have been sporting some new specs. A few months ago Plum District was offering a voucher for a free pair of glasses from Coastal.com. I figured there had to be a catch to it. But I decided that if there was one then I just wouldn't redeem the voucher. I picked the Joseph Marc 4027 (they're currently out of stock) and inputted my prescription information. Simple enough. All I had to pay was taxes and the shipping and handling which came out to $13 smack-a-roos. Done. I got confirmation that they shipped and within two weeks I had my new pair of glasses. As soon as I put them on I could feel a huge difference in the crispness in my vision. I have to say that I can see clearer with these glasses than I could with my Warby Parker glasses and even my Ralph Lauren sunglasses. I love how clear I can see with these glasses that I'm contemplating buying a pair of sunglasses from Coastal.com next. Now if I could just decide which ones I want.
