OOTD: Faux leather + Tweed

I have been loving leather and faux leather looks this year but thought that there was no way I could incorporate it into my daily wardrobe. I found this skirt on JCP's website during Black Friday.  For $15 I figured that it was worth giving the trend a try.

Jacket: Kohl's (2005?), Skirt, Tights: SPANX, Shoes

Let me just say that faux leather has come a long way since the last time I tried to wear faux leather back in my high school days.  Back then faux leather sounded like somebody was destroying a vinyl record.  It actually feels like real leather for a fraction of what it would cost for a real leather skirt.  Even better, I was able to buy this skirt in a petite size.  The length is perfect.  I wonder how much longer this thing would have been had I ordered it in regular length.  I am constantly amazed by the quality and selection that JCPenney has these days.  Great...just another place for me to shop.  I'm sure J is thrilled about this.
