OOTD: Subtle print mixing

I love the trend of pattern mixing but just haven't felt brave enough to do it.  You would think that pattern mixing is easy but it can easily go wrong and look like a sloppy mess.  I think the bravest I've been with pattern is my outfit of dots.  So today, I decided to try more pattern mixing with my polka dot pants.

Cardigan: Banana Republic Outlet, Shirt: Old Navy, Pants, Old Navy

Do you see the other pattern?  The shirt has some subtle horizontal, crochet stripes.  I figured this was a safe way to embrace the print mixing.  If you look harder it will turn into a Magic Eye poster that says, "Buy more shoes."  And I usually happily oblige.

Bracelet: World Market

Shoes: JCrew Factory Store (Fun options herehere, and here.)
