Product Review: Sl(eye)tly Obsessed

So if you recall, I started using Latisse back in December.  I had great results within two months of using it but then stopped using it because I ran out of the little application brushes that came with the product.  I finally ended up buying a fine eyeliner brush from Ulta and started the whole process all over again.  After a few months of constant use, my eyelashes are finally long again.  My mother-in-law even asked me if I was wearing fake lashes a few weeks ago.  Now, I'm sure that the Latisse helped but I think a few other products helped my lashes along.

This is what my lashes look like after using Latiesse since May before I put on any makeup.  I wish I had gotten a before picture of my lashes.  For some, my lashes might not look long but if they look like this after Latisse, can you just imagine how puny they were before?  Exactly.

So I've been pretty happy with my results using Latisse but remember when I bought the Tarte Mutlipleye Eyelash Primer and Lights, Camera, Lashes sample duo back in May?  Well, I fell in love with that stuff.  I had been using DiorShow mascara after reading rave reviews and I thought that was the end-all-be-all mascara but then...I found this stuff.  I don't know if it was all in my head but not only did both products make me look like I had longer lashes but I think that these products made my lashes curl which is an added bonus.

I have a love/hate relationship with the eyelash curler so any product that can kind of curl my lashes without a curler is a keeper.  I used up every last drop of the samples but didn't want to shell out the money for the full sized versions.  So I just got the Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara at Sephora.  I thought I would see how my lashes looked without using the primer.  Then at the end of July Tarte ran a Friends and Family promotion and everything was 30% off.  Woo hoo!  So you know I put the primer in my basket.  While I was on the site, I decided to try the Multipleye Lash Enhancer, Multipleye Waterproof Mascara and the Bottoms Up Lower Lash Mascara.

Now I have my longer lashes back.  Woo hoo!

I haven't used the Lash Enhancer yet because I'm still using up the last of my Latisse.  For such a tinee, tiny bottle, that stuff sure lasts a long time.  The reviews are mostly positive.  So we'll see.

While I love the idea of the Bottoms Up Lower Lash Mascara, I tried to use it once and I couldn't quite figure out how to apply it on my sparse lower lashes without getting it all over the rest of my face.  I guess it just takes time to perfect the application.  Anybody got any tips you want to share?  :-)

EDITED:  I have finally gotten around to using the MultiplEye Waterproof Mascara and it doesn't budge during swim class or afternoons baking in the Texas heat at the pool.  I will say that if you put to much on, you run the risk of your eyelashes looking like spiders.
