OOTD: This week's a wash

Happy day after the 4th of July!  Did you do any of the things you had planned?  Despite going to bed at midnight on Tuesday night, I did manage to drag my butt out of bed and ran the Freedom 5000.  It was my workout for the week.  My time sucked but the clouds and breeze made the run a little more bearable. Once I got home, we all just laid around the house and did a whole lot of nothing with a few catnaps here and there.

So I'm just going to consider this my casual week.  It was hard to get out of bed and get ready for work this morning when J and Nathan got to stay home and hang out together.  It was also hard because Nathan has started to become a little more clingy than he used to be.  After I finished the Freedom 5000 yesterday, I called J to get an update on how Nathan was doing and he reported that Nathan was off because he woke up to find that I was gone.  He was running around calling out mama.  Add to his furrywhen he realized J was on the phone with me talking about food.  This boy likes to eat.  Luckily he woke up before I left for work this morning and we got to play for a few minutes before I had to be on my way.  Upon me exiting the room I could hear the theme song of Angry Birds and knew that the rest of his morning should be uneventful.

Add to my wardrobe laziness, my two co-workers decided to take the day off but me being the diligent worker bee that I am, came into the office.  They're such slackers.  Ha.  It was just me, the bossman and his 16 year old daughter.  At least it was quiet and I could get some work done in peace in the charming (OLD as dirt) house on the hill.
