Vendor Review: Paper Culture

My friend Jenny is having a little baby boy and I jumped at the opportunity to throw her a baby shower.  I had planned on hand making the invitations and I even had a design in mind but I decided that was a little too ambitious.  So the next best option?   Order invitations from Paper Culture. I will admit that I learned about them via Plum District but I totally fell in love with the company when I read that that their cards are made with 100% post consumer recycled paper and that with every order, they plant a tree.  I went to the website to check out products and designs.  It was so hard to pick a design but I finally settled on one.  I placed the order and didn't give it a second thought.  I received a proof immediately after I had submitted my order. Within 24 hours I received a tracking number.  Four days later the invitations were sitting pretty in my mailbox.

First impressions are a very important aspect of running a business and I loved Paper Culture's packaging.

I was even more impressed with what was inside.  How cute are these invitations?  I'll have to say that I'm a bit of a card stock snob because I try and make my own and when I read that the cards were made from 100% post consumer recycled paper, that I was envisioning that they would be a little...flimsy.  I was pleasantly surprised to find that these cards weren't flimsy at all.   I will say that the only thing that I wasn't a fan of was how see through the envelopes were.  I'm slightly OCD and like the face of the card to be behind the recipient's address but could definitely see the dots and teddy bear through the envelope on the left.

And to make sure I come back, they included a Thank You card with a  20% off code of my next order.  I'll be passing that on to Jenny, so her and her fiance can order birth announcements of their little cutie once he arrives.  Can't wait!
