OOTD: Floating

Cardigan: Old Navy (similar here), Dress
I'd been eyeing this dress at Old Navy for a while but never wanted to pay $40 for it.  Spending $40 at Old Navy just feels wrong since most of their stuff doesn't last past a season.  Case in point...my beloved chambray shirt is starting to fray in the back.  One of these days it's just going to rip Tommy Boy style. Fat girl in a little shirt.  Anyway, there was one left on the sale rack in an extra small.  As you can see, it's a little long on me and makes me look like I have no feet.  Definitely need to get this dress altered just a bit.  Hopefully I don't step on it and rip it before I can get it to the seamstress.

Anybody have anything fun planned for this weekend?  I'll probably take Nathan to go buy him some water wear and maybe venture out to a splash park.  Then on Sunday, we're meeting up with my longtime friend, Jenny, for brunch.  I may just have to wear this dress again for brunch.  It's just so much fun to wear.  Plus it'll help conceal the miga gut.  I can't resist the migas.  That's usually how I base if a restaurant is good.  Anyway, hope ya'll have a great weekend!  Toodles!
