OOTD: Go figure

So last week I finally decided that it was time to get some new nude pumps.  My Mossimo Pearce pumps have seen a lot of wear over the last year and a half.

I can't believe I let them get that bad.  Yikes.  So after watching Jean's review of the Mossimo Versie Pump vs. the Mossimo Pearce Pump, I decided to try the Versie pumps this time around.

I loved my Pearce pumps but I REALLY LOVE these Versie pumps.  After reading reviews on Target's website, I was really hesitant to buy these but I am so glad I did.  I do not have an issue with my foot sliding forward or a steep arch.  I think that's because of the short platform at the front of the shoe.   The week it took for my new nude pumps to arrive made me realize how vital my nude pumps are to my spring and summer wardrobe.  I would stare into my closet, perplexed on what to wear with *GASP* black shoes because when I think of black shoes, I always think of dark, dreary and cold winter.  Not bright, cheerful and warm spring.  So today I wasted no time putting an outfit together with my new nude pumps.

Shirt:  Banana Republic Outlet (OLD), Skirt: Banana Republic Outlet (last spring), Shoes, Bag:  Kate Spade

Except...today wasn't a bright, sunny, warm spring day.  It turned out to be a dark, soggy, cool, Tuesday.  I guess it was a black shoe day instead.  Figures.
