OOTD: At last...

I finally got a tripod and can take my outfit pictures in two clicks instead of trying to get one decent shot out of 50.

Sweater Jacket:  Ann Taylor Loft (similar here), Dress:  Target (similar here), Shoes:  Ivanka Trump (similar here), Purse: Kate Spade (similar here)

Now if I could just get the lighting right so I don't look soooo...yellow. One thing at a time. It's a miracle I managed to set up my tripod and figure out my remote all in five minutes.

Anyhooo...don't I look fairly happy in this pic?  If only I knew how crummy I would feel by the end of the day.  I'm going to make a confession.  I take Lexapro because let's face it...sometimes people need happy pills to help them survive the day without ripping their hair out.  Well I ran out of my happy pills over the weekend which is a very, VERY bad thing.  Stopping such medication cold turkey or just forgetting to take the medication can have horrible consequences.  By noon I was in pretty bad shape.  I couldn't stomach anything and was frantically calling both my family doctor, my OB and the pharmacy to see who could call it in the fastest so I could end my misery.  I'm glad to report that I now have my refill...Thank you baby bejesus.  Now I'm off to go snooze with the toddler and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

    1. Thanks! I bought them after I saw them in one of your posts last year. Definitely one of my favorite pairs of shoes!

  2. Very cute! I need a tripod - how are those Ivanka Trump shoes? I've never tried them on but they look so adorable. Her line makes very cute shoes!

    1. Thanks! Despite having a pointy toe, these shoes are actually pretty comfortable and these are one of the only pair of sling back pumps that don't slip off the back of my foot.
