Outfit of the Day:

Today was day two of taking care of Nathan solo and it honestly wasn't too bad. But that's easy to say since he's been asleep since 5:30. His new thing is to not nap at nana's house and today was no different. I plopped him in his crib and he slumbered peacefully for about 2 hours until he woke up whimpering. I finally felt bad for the little and brought him into our room where he has been sleeping the night away. He hasn't eaten since lunchtime but I think he's afraid that if he wakes up, I'll torture him by putting him in his little prison. Jason's going to love me when he gets back from this trip. His usual go to routine was to put Nathan in the pack-n-play in our room, while he'd speed through a shower. But since I've tried to get Nathan used to sleeping in his crib, he now screams when I put him in the pack-n-play as well. Whoops. Sorry J!

Since I managed to get some sleep last night, I don't look so grumpy. And lookie! I managed to put on makeup AND half-ass curl my hair. Whoa.

Ya seeing a pattern as to where I shop?

Do these jeans look familiar? Yep. I wore them yesterday. I just discovered that I could fit my butt back into them after having Nathan and they are just so dang comfy that I just want to wear them all the time. I'm going to have a hard time convincing Nathan that he needs to change his clothes after wearing it for a week straight, when I myself wear some things multiple days a week. Hopefully I can at least convince him to take a shower when that day comes.

Okay folks. It's off to bed before my typing wakes up the tater. One and a half more days of single parenthood until Jason comes home. Woo hoo!

I'm a 35 year old working, running and shopping (not necessarily in that order) mom living in the burbs surrounding the beautiful city of Austin with my husband, our very active 5 year old and our rescue dog Buddy. This blog is my little space of the internet where I let my ADD run loose and I blog about...anything.
