1 Month?!?!

I can't believe how fast time is flying. Just as the pregnancy flew by, the first month at home went just as fast. It feels like we just brought Nathan home from the hospital but I return to work TOMORROW. I was able to take 6 weeks off from work to bond with Nathan and to adjust to being a new mommy. So far so good. I'm not quite sure how I will be able to keep my eyes open at work when I go back because I catch up on my sleep during the day while Nathan is napping. I definately won't be able to do that when I go back to work. Being home with him has been great. It seems like everyday he looks different from the day before and it's great to see the little milestones that he's been able to make in such a short time. I thought I'd be okay going back to work but now that the day has come, the sadder I get thinking that somebody else will be taking care of my little guy. What if I miss his first steps or his first words? I have a feeling it won't be very long before this little guy is moving around. We've got a kicker on our hands. He sleeps with us in our bed in a co-sleeper. He manages to scootch himself all the way to the bottom and his little feet break free from the little walls of te co-sleeper. This morning I woke up to some kicking. For a second I thought I was having a dream that I was pregnant again but woke up to realize he was kicking me in the ribs. I'm not sure which way I prefer to be woken up. By him grunting, groaning and then finally screaming because he's hungry in the middle of the night or from him kicking me in the ribs. Hmmmmm. I'll have to give you an answer next week. I'm super late on this post but here is his one month picture.

**DISCLAIMER: Nathan was not harmed in the taking of this photo although his facial expression may indicate otherwise. I think he was working on a fart at that time.**
